I Write Elsewhere

email

I’ve been published elsewhere. (Don’t tell my blog.)

I write twice a month for Richmondmom.com. My previous articles on parenting fiascos, awkward social moments and cool Richmond, Virginia events are listed here.

I write weekly on my collaborative review and giveaway site This Blogger Makes Fun of Stuff.

BlogHer.com syndicated two posts from my blog — on why I bother being a good parent at all and on how I don’t write to hurt you, and I believe that you don’t write to hurt me.

GayRVA.com republished a piece from my blog on how I became a Christian who supports gay rights (and how you can, too).

Courage Network republished a piece from my blog on how Domestic Violence Awareness Month is EVERY month

Romp n’ Roll hired me to write and consult on their blog. My previous Romp n’ Roll adventures are listed here.

I did a poetry reading at The Library of Virginia in May 2008, and in February 2009, a chapbook based on the poetry reading entitled, Sound and Sense, was published.

Two poems were published in Fall 2008 in Confessions of a Church Attending and My Thirteenth Birthday

If you want me to write for you, check out my Hire Me page or email me at alex{at}lateenough{dot}com

I have a few subscription options: Get posts emailed daily, get posts emailed weekly in a newsletter, subscribe by RSS reader, follow on Facebook or Twitter. Who's sick me yet?

I just discovered your blog. I think I love you. Okay a little too forward, and awkward. Maybe I should say I love your thoughts and ideas. Frankly you sound like me…albeit a little more Christian leaning…but I consider myself an agnostic who leans to the center. I read your entry about questioning your faith, your religion, and your place in church. I love that you question, that you constantly strive to live according to your beliefs but you also question the rightness of them. I love that you have started a group that talks about Motherhood and the outrage at not being told how it really was, like not having weekends off. I think that pisses me off more than anything! What, I don’t get to sleep in? And I love your article in GayRVA.com. I can not wait to hear more.

Thank you so much!
And I can’t wait to hear more of your thoughts and ideas too!

ps. On my blog “too awkward” is a myth. You can never been too awkward here.
