My daughter and I took a flying tree to an evil castle where we disguised ourselves as poison troopers and learned the poison song and dance to blend in, which I was pretty sure had a little more rose and thorn to it, but my daughter insisted had skip and hop and march.
Mama, stop singing ’80s Hair Metal Ballads.
She must’ve been right because the other poison troopers never spotted us as we snuck up on their leader Poison Ivy and removed our disguises to attack. We defeated her with many ninja mama cat kicks and saved our 3 kittens lives.
They were scared but alive.

What I did yesterday may not have been as exciting as sneaking through enemy lines to rescue kittens but I helped register voters on the last day to register to vote this cycle, here in Texas. It was pretty fun.

Yesterday I attempted to clean my bedroom again. Which means I found packing foam halfway through and started to make hills for my kid’s toys. It made sense at the time..to me my husband thinks I have problems. Your kid is awesome.

Yesterday I went to work and went to Zumba and then ate my new favorite snack of strawberries, pretzel rods and Laughing Cow cheese.
And Iris has that same black and white kitty with the creepy ginormous eyes. She grips it around its neck in kind of an intense fashion.

Also, the big-eyed cat is intensively loved in this home as well.
I tried to figure out how to make it all work and ended up being satisfied with some of it working, some of the time? You know, balance and all.

I’m so glad all three cats survived. It’s a good thing they found their mittens too. It’s probably a little cold on a Fall day even when Poison songs are being sung for warmth and inspiration. Also, when people said cats didn’t really need to learn how to do ninja kicks they were so very, very wrong.
