I wasn’t feeling well yesterday, but I’m fine today, which rules out pneumonia and death. Since I get sick around my birthday every year, I’m pretty sure it was just allergies, but REALLY BAD, CLOSE-TO-DEATH ALLERGIES, okay?
As I rested yesterday, and by “rested” I mean “obsessive watched the first season of Smash in bed,” my husband put my kids in charge of a few things, which went as well as my chore chart experiment did.
The timing of feeling sick was perfect because I had just listed out to Scott all the things I had going on this week so I get to start out behind and with Broadway show tunes stuck in my head.

If “RESTED” means “behind on everything”, I’m going to get that tattooed on my forehead.
As long as one can claim to be “rested” and also completely exhausted.
p.s. My ants love me, too.
p.p.s. Glad you’re feeling better.
don’t you LOVE “SMASH”? I adore that show. it feeds my needs of tangled webs and show tunes. Plus I also layed in my bed all day yesterday too, coming back from vaca was extremely sad and while the skies were BLUE, I was too.
Hope you are feeling better..and wish we could compare notes on Smash, so glad you like that show too.
Feel better soon . . . at least you know the cats won’t be hungry for a while.
Seriously, 24 hours later and no one needs to feed them. I’m thinking Wednesday?
I “rested” on my sick day last week by sitting around doing what I usually do to waste time, reading blogs and random stuff on the internet. At the end of the day I realized I didn’t take advantage of the day by being productive OR watching TV all day. I was kind of sad. So, hey, at least you got in a lot of TV time! Glad you are feeling better!
I do appreciate the excess amounts of television I watched (on my computer). I hope you’re feeling better.
Hey, at least they got some in the bowls..
If I ever get rest I wake up to a disaster (or come home to one). This makes it difficult to have a social life. It’s like play now/play later or don’t play now, but not face a disaster later.
My dogs food looks like that all the time. It used to make me want to cry, but now I just avoid the hallway we keep it in. Ignorance is bliss.
