Psst.. don’t use this as an opportunity to knock attachment parenting or the real May 21, 2012 Time Magazine cover. My cover is a joke, and if you can’t stop taking yourself seriously for 5 minutes after seeing me pregnant with 1 of my 4 cats in a sling, you need to close your computer and get a hug. I’m a doctor so I know these things.

I LOVE this! Scary Mommy posted a cover that’s pretty hilarious too. And yes, people were in an uproar. Here’s what I think about the whole ordeal (in case you care, which I’m sure you do). Apparently, no one was reading Time which is exactly why the editors published it. It was like dumping gasoline all over a simmering fire and then throwing a match on it. We all know what you get. A hell of an explosion. And we all proved we were lemmings. Meanwhile, all of the marketing executives and editors are high fiving each other backstage.

GREAT IDEA!!! The Time cover is just begging to be parodied. You rocked it lady. But…you might have a better (photoshopped) version of it. I’m thinking “Update”…..just saying…..
