We Now Own A Smoke Machine

February 15, 2012

in Holidays, My Family

My Valentine’s Day was going along swimmingly until I walked into my home and it was smokey.

I was in such a good mood that I didn’t immediately think HOLY CRAP HOUSE IS BURNING DOWN and instead, thought that Scott was making me a cake, and it wasn’t going so well. I guess burning cakes is my department because the smoke was a fog machine.

Scott made me a dance party for Valentine’s Day because dancing is my favorite thing on Earth, and we haven’t been able to go in so long. It turns out those clubs don’t open until after my bedtime.

I put the video together quickly, but it gives you an idea of the coolness that was our sunroom for a few hours: a smoke machine, lights and a 90s music mix.

Pretty amazing.

I can’t wait to be into Saint Patrick’s Day this year. Maybe I’ll get a hot air balloon. I’ve never gotten to do that!

That. Is. Awesome. Seriously beats out fancy jewelry or presents. Because he knows you.

Yup, your husband is pretty darn awesome. :) :) :)

Thank you for bringing back all the old high school songs, too. I can’t help but dance!

I am so jealous of you smoke machine! Just think of all the things your future holds now: you will OWN Halloween now, awesome hide-n-seek fun, tricks you can play on your neighbors – “Your house is on fire!”, and I can just see the family theatre productions you all can have from now on. FUN!

Hooboy. You have a one of a kind husband. Hot air balloon ride would be fun but I’d figure this dance party oughta be good for credit with Scott for several months…

You’re so right — he’s pretty special and the present should last for a while. Until Mother’s Day.
