Yesterday was my wonderful husband’s 32nd birthday.
And my gift to him?

I was unplugged. From 5:30 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Sunday.
Except there was one flaw in my plan of wifely AWESOMENESS. On Friday night, Scott was post-call. And asleep by 9 p.m.. I haven’t gone to bed at 9 p.m. since before Obama became president. (And that might have just been a Bush-years depression.)
So I was unplugged mostly on Saturday.
I AM THE BEST WIFE EVER!
Or for like 90% of his birthday weekend. Otherwise, I’m just a pretty good wife who loves my husband very much.
And managed to make his entire birthday post about me.
So maybe I AM THE BEST WIFE EVER {in my mind}

hmmm just realised that your kid can only watch 30 min TV but you are plugged in most of the time. hows a 30 min a week computer challenge sound?

Best wife ever, without a doubt!! It was my birthday yeaterday too. To celebrate we brought the kids to African Lion Safari. I’m not sure how that all came together. Fun though.

So funny- my Scott get’s backpacks for his birthday, too. Last year, a Kelty backpack to carry Hayden in (which he promptly outgrew). This year, a Northface backpack to take to work.
