Quote of the Day – Nature Is Our Church This Morning

We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature – trees, flowers, grass – grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence… We need silence to be able to touch souls.  -Mother Teresa

We communed with nature today. Met God on His turf. I’m an enclosed-area kinda mama who usually refer to hikes as a FORCED MARCHES.   But I’m glad we got out…

Now I’m exhausted. And hugging my computer. MISSED YOU. {Muah Muah}

She spends most of her writing time on LateEnough.com, a humor blog (except when it's serious) about her husband fighting zombies, awkward attempts at friendship, and dancing like everyone is watching. She also has a soft spot for culture, politics, and rude Southern people who offend her Yankee sensibilities. She parents 2 elementary-aged children, 1 foster baby, 3 cats, and 1 puppy, who are all Southern but not rude. Yet.

  1. What a great post : ) I LOVE your pictures. And I love that you hugged your pictures when you got back : ) So funny! Welcome to the world of blogging. I just saw your comment at Jill's post for blogging tips. I think your blog name is clever even if it doesn't start with an A : )
